Troll Belt    Items  (Clothes)   (Magical)

I like unique items, and I like to tailor them to my players.  So, when they went on a mission to clear out a troll cave, I decided to make this for the wizard in the group.

Troll Gloves    Items  (Clothes)   (Combat)

It seems to me that monks tend to get the short end of things, item wise.  There is not much variety out there, and most of what there is is rather cliche.  So, when my players were sent on a job to clear out a troll cave, I created something a bit different.

Banded Persuasion    Items  (Clothes)   (Villanous)

Griffin is the brother of the King. He used to live in the royal court at the capital city, but that all changed when his wife was called to testify before the court against a friend of Griffins. She lied under oath to protect her husband about a hidden issue. Her lie was discovered. She was summarily executed and her husband was reprimanded not punished, being the brother to the King. His offense was very minor even in this kingdom, but this opened his eyes to the fact that his family’s kingdom despite being lawful and protective of all its subjects, it was not as good as it portrayed.

Cloaks of Misfortune    Items  (Clothes)   (Villanous)

At the estate sale of one wealthy merchant, a seamstress found several lengths of black silk cord, the kind that is used for trim and piping. A local seamstress purchased those odd lengths and the remaining bolt cheap and turned out two or three cloaks using the thin black silk cord as trim. An evil seems to follow them, though nobody knows it.

Robe of the Viper    Items  (Clothes)   (Magical)

Gareth turned and squinted uneasily over his shoulder.  He could have sworn he heard a high pitched hiss.  He turned back to continue through the dim underground passageway.  It was then that he saw them.  A pair of ruby red eyes, glowing faintly a few feet front of him.  He had to look up to see them, and that is saying something, given Gareth’s generous stature.  The strike was quick…he had no chance.  The last thing he remembered were the eyes hovering above him and the fangs dripping venom.  And was that a second set of eyes gleaming beneath the first…?

The air had grown chill the minute they descended into the strange valley, which was unmarked on any of their maps. It was so strange here, devoid of animal life and completely silent. The horses were nervous the entire journey through the vale. As they set about to collect firewood for the campfire they could hear their own voices as dim echoes through the eerie silence. The food didn't taste anything that evening and their sleep was cold and troubled by nightmares. While they are clearing camp the next morning, one of them stumbles over a piece of stone jutting out of the ground nearby the horses. On closer inspection there seems to be runes engraved into the polished surface. The symbols true meaning is no more known among mere mortals and if they decide to dig deeper, they will discover that it is an ancient altar buried within the soil. Any historically oriented party member will recognize the largest symbol to be the insignia of the powerful warlock who ruled this realm several centuries ago. At their departure from the area, something will seem amiss with one of the party members and all will remember the stories of the warlock's thousand curses.
