30 Bardic Tales Items  (Art and Music)   (Non-Magical)

A collection of 30 bardic tales you may hear sung in the local tavern or empresses' court, complete with bardic verse excerpts from all 30 tales themselves.

Many of these tales can also be used as quick plug in adventures for Gm's looking for a side quest. (And let the players exploits be turned into the song by a near by bard perhaps?)

"You shall find my body beneath the steep cliff, where the larch grove grows.  Take my skull, and hang it from the old larch tree.  And then you shall make of me an instrument: my skull for the box, the tree for the neck, my tail for the strings and bow.  Whenever you play it, I shall be with you, for At-Beyi is inseparable."

Trinket of the Mariner's Son Items  (Art and Music)   (Non-Magical)

Even though I often didn't see my father for months at a time, I know he loved me as much as I love you, Son, and as he once said to me, 'I may not be the best father, but I will always send my prayers when you need them the most,' and that is what I intend to do for you. Remember this, even if you don't see me for a while and want to hate me, I love you.

I was in a game with a GM that had a Masters in History, who made is a point to mention that the local peasants didn't have wheelbarrows. The rest of the players just shrugged that off but I knew that the GM was trying to tell us the peasants were on the knife edge of starvation. All that from wheelbarrows? Yes, because before the invention of the wheelbarrow it took two men to carry that load. In it's time the wheelbarrow was the most explosive production multiplier that the peasantry could get their hands on. This is worth two tips: One about the power of the Wheelbarrow and the other is the moral of the story...that people need to know the point you are trying to make.
