I have found the Book of Remembrances in the royal library… a wellspring of knowledge directly from the mouths of great rulers and scholars of the past… my only wish is that I might discover a way to add my own knowledge to this work.
T’Arkia, Imperial High Mage
This ancient text is the legacy of one of the greatest mages of all time, but using it can be quite a challenge!
A sinister book that forces the reader to relive painful memories by presenting idealized versions of their outcomes.
This book’s origin’s are unknown, it’s owner, Pentwell, an old hermit gnome living of the coast of Felldart found it one day on the shoreline, floating in the tide. Then, he learned that the book fortold what was to happen.
And Cain said “Blood of my Blood, Soul of my Soul, partaketh of the Blood of the mortals, who art like the swine and chattel of the earth.”
A very ornate and very old looking spell book. Chock full of spells, most of which are unreadable by any magic user. The ones that can be read, unfortunately, don’t have the affect the mage is looking for.
Along the sluggish Vanne River, the banks are lined with thick stands of tall bulrushes. These areas of wetland are considered ill-omened by the locals, for they hide the skeletal remains of thousands of grazing animals, washed downriver in a terrible flood decades before.
Adding to the uncanny reputation of the place is the occasional undead cow or goat that lurks there. The product of a necromancer's experiments some years before, these relatively harmless undead wander the area at night, startling livestock as they attempt to graze with them.
