A statue with the power to fix your mistakes.
A well-loved and somewhat crudely hand-crafted tribal drum owned by the Tribal Half-Orc, Somnak. It is said that Somnak possessed the ability to call upon the spirit of any creature whose skin was pulled over the drum to aid him and his allies in battle, as well as curse his foes.
You find a dusty violin on a stand in the next room. Through the grime of the years, you can tell that it is of excellent make. Perhaps someone can put it to good use? An instrument is meant to be played, after all...
The Horn of Seven Seals can remove many of one's inate inhibitions, allowing for greater effectiveness in battle. This can come at a hefty price, however.
The most melodic of notes, the most soothing of tunes.
"It would help if I knew how to play the thing, though."
If kindness is the currency
that you most often use;
Then Silverbreath may come one day
to light Good Fortune's fuse.

That Which Kills Without A Touch. The Sorrow of Aler.
Its old and battered exterior hides a subtle, and finicky, magic.
"You shall find my body beneath the steep cliff, where the larch grove grows. Take my skull, and hang it from the old larch tree. And then you shall make of me an instrument: my skull for the box, the tree for the neck, my tail for the strings and bow. Whenever you play it, I shall be with you, for At-Beyi is inseparable."
- The Legend of At-Beyi
The estate-sale and auction of one, Sulphonis Odom Von Zygilvein; composer, innnovator, madman, inventor. Celebrated musical genius.
A sketch pad for casting powerful magic, if you can use it. How many uses for bunnies can you think of?
"That not normal dark. My eyes can not see in it." - Bloodrock, Orcish Warrior.
The gathered crowd watches with a highly palpable combination of of nervousness and awe, as the Quarsooth steps into the great stone cavern.
They had been summoned here by the dictate of their new overlords to heed their sermon, the vision that the newly arrived saviours of mankind had brough with them from their lengthy, astral passage from the great heavens that formed the very roof of the Heavens. But in their hearts, the people are afraid. The Quarsooth for all the benovalence they have displayed, are still creatures too dangerously akin to the demons or angels of their ancient myths or stories. And all dealings with being of supernatural provenance are fraught with peril, as the old tales warn.
But even as they continue to stare at the Quarsooth, their minds in turmoil, the radiant being reaches into the folds of his robes and withdraws a strange metal rod. Putting this to his lips, he begins to play a tune.
Soon, all fear and suspicion and fear is erased from the minds of the gathered folk, as the haunting and poignant song regals them with tales of the lost glories of Zor-Tanis, all the while reminding them how by particpating in the attempts of the Quarsooth to resuract it on this world, they can bring an end to their own endemic sufering and enjoy absolute power over great stores of knowledge that will enable them to ascend to a position of riches and enlightenment that is rivalled only by Zor-Tanis.
And thus is the conquest of humanity being achieved…
An instrument that that transmits feelings.
The unearthly sound echoed across the faire over the din of the crowd. An apprentice trying to make some extra coin had found a way to utilize his training tool. While this would scandalize his master and his peers, the common folk were mesmerized by the unique sound this instrument performed.
There are dozens of copies of the Malachrite Falcon, most of which are decoys or mcguffins for a variety of cons and scams. Some of these Falcons are somewhat famous in their own rights, as they will have colorful histories.
The Malachrite Falcon is one of those legendary treasures that people have been hunting for over the centuries. The Malachrite Falcon has a legendary past, mixed with the Great Orders of the Past. The Malachrite Cult, The Sethians, the Kings of Cronos, and just some of the great orders who have owned it. The last public owners were the Blades of the GoldenSun, a legendary order of warriors from the ancient Imperial days. The Blades were either the greatest warriors for Good or the most famous scam artists depending on who is writing the history. When the Blades were “broken” by Emperor Coscious the Mad, their treasuries were looted. The Falcon was one of the treasures not accounted for. It was considered spirited away by some Blades.
Savage, blood thirsty, the amphibious shark men or Zaben cannot be controlled,so the conventional wisdom goes.

Within the fragile bounds of this cage of crystalline metal, your will and talent may work wonders…
In a crowded marketplace, a man is standing on a soapbox, orating. Some of the crowd are cheering, some hissing, some standing around saying "I can't hear a bl**dy word he's saying". It's a hustings for an election. The PCs can either leave, or stay and listen. If they do the latter, then they can vote too, and they might get quite involved in the cheering. Depending on who wins they might get quite involved in the post-election brawl too...
There are numerous possibilities with this encounter: the PCs might end up talking to one of the nervous candidates before their speech, and offer encouragement and support. Of course this candidate may well turn out to be someone with outspokenly unorthodox views, and the crowd don't take kindly to s/his supporters. Or maybe the seemingly innocuous candidate turns out to be a complete racist, and the PCs wander off embarrassedly, pretending they weren't talking to this person five minutes ago.
