The Blackwings

Hmm, I had text around that at one point.

They make _terrible_ slaves, requiring nearly constant supervision - it is why undesirables are either banished or slain. Some fall into deadly depression if somehow knocked below their station.

You know, I think substance abuse might be a problem with these fellows as well.

They are flightless (tweaked the description to make this more clear), so they use walls and guards to keep from being burgled.

As for Christmas, that is an excellent question. They are as a whole a very secular race.

I think they may celebrate the 'Coming of Order', when the Skycrowned, their God of Dominance, took control of the squawking multitudes and enforced the new, rigid society.

It /would/ be easier to use the generator creation area to create a 30. It's pretty much always easier to move from a very precise, delimited format to a freeform one. The reverse is...slightly more difficult. Go to Comment

If there was a consistent means to tell which section is which, certainly.

It is that part which made this so tutorial complex - there is no formal definition of an entry in a 30.

Some have extended descriptions above the listing - of course that could be treated as a separate element and merged with the summary/description manually.

different format for numbers none, 1. , 1.), 1-, etc.

Some bold the entries, some do not. Some are not consistent with bolding (such as myself) - see http://strolen.com/viewing/30_Legendary_AntidotesCures

To make this work well, we should have a fixed interface for List submissions, where you create the elements one by one. This does not lend itself to, for example, my workflow using external docs and pasting it in.

It would almost be easier to use the Generator creation screen to create a 30 :).

I think you need to delete the old one and replace it with the file.

Val, quick question: I've recently uploaded a new 30+ Chinese name generator. I'm currently working to expand it into 101 and here comes my problem. So far I can only see an edit button which then requires me to copy and paste in items one by one. Is there a function that allows me to override the existing generator by uploading a new text file to replace the old or is the only option for me to delete the old one and replace it with the expanded version? I absolutely love it. It brings something unique to the fantasy realm in a replicable and very usable fashion. Great for thieves, acrobats, assassins, ninjas and even more adventurous characters.

Humor: dwarf parkour
horror: tiefling parlour

This seems like the sort of thing I would be inclined to drop on a totally untrained group. You're caught in the trap? Oh, well, there's a belt down there. Better hope you don't kill yourself with it.

It could be kind of a neat super-hero gadget, too. Go to Comment

Aside from a smidgeon of typos, (go/gone mulbury/mulberry) these are marvelous!

Now these can explain a lot of kung-fu movies, wherein our hero, after kicking lots of butt inside the evil dojo's courtyard, merely leaps up and over the (30' or so) wall to escape. Sometimes, the bad guys leap after him. I guess they stole a few belts.

I'm mixed on the belts negative effects on normal physical skills. Seems slightly un-monkish to focus on a magical belt so much as to have to train a lot just to eliminate the negative effects thereof. On the other hand, it's a nice way to limit the belts in game.

I love these more from a thieves-in-big-city angle, where rogues are literally parkour-ing about, amidst the rooftops. Great visual, that.

Anyway, simple, very useful, great idea!

You seem ready to play a kung-fu cinema rp! :-) Go to Comment
