Feels like it occupies a bit of a strange spot between military and civilian - I would think the military could have better weapons, but it seems a bit too gory for civilian use. But it is a striking visual for sure. Go to Comment
I kind of love the notion that having a lightning elemental around frizzing your hair is worth installing this huge, expensive lightning rod equivalent. It kind of makes me imagine a Ghostbusters-type organization devoted to battling renegade elementals. Go to Comment
I like the voice and the detail, you did a very good job of describing a rather complex physical arrangment of objects.
On a side not, how do you go about mixing physics and modern scientific knowledge into your games? Would accept such things as lights that produce now heat, could you sufficate fire elementals by depriving them of oxygen, and do your fantasy characters even know what oxygen is?
When was the last time a character caught a cold or flu? Real people get them every now and again even with solid heating and dry interiors. Your characters are out in the cold and wet, and even inside is not always dry and warm. Imagine having to stop your dungeon crawl, sitting in a tight defensive position, while you all are feverish.
