This is something that took me a while to figure out once I read it. I don't care for it personally but it is very detailed and can be followed. I will try to use it with my gamers to see if they can follow the rules with ease.
However. After reading it more than once it hits a familiar ring to my ear like I have visually seen this before. The floating heart makes it seem that much more like I have seen this before, yet in an actual video game. Perhaps it is just coincidence. Go to Comment
thanks, yeah I was going for a story type of gameplay, basically like the gameplay of final fantasy 9, in which you don't get the deck until you get into the game. The castle scene in the game will have a movie scene and you will play and escape from the dungeon. In the game I might make it so you can fight your way out, or make it so you have to sneak out choosing the right coridors or something like that. Also, the part where you fight the white sorcerer will be like the tutorial since it will be the first thime you get to use the deck and you will then be able to use it in combat. It will definitely be one of those two to four disc games. I'm still alittle sketchy on the basic plot, but I'm hoping to piece together all my characters into one plot; as you probably noticed along the end. I also posted this at 1:30am so if it looks alittle sloppy towards the end you know why. It really took a while with this one so I hope everyone can grow to like it. Thanks for appriciating my character :) Go to Comment
thanks moonhunter and again I'm sorry for rating for my own character I probably shouldn't have rated myself I had no idea it was so shunned upon. I now know never to make that mistake again. Go to Comment
Cheka, that is not a great reason to give a one. Despite the bad taste to initially vote for one's own post, it is not a bad character. It is certainly not worthy of a 1. Now you might vote a touch lower than you would of because of the tacky factor, but you should never pan an entry just because of it.
So because of you I have rated it higher than I would of to bring the points more into balance. Go to Comment
Griffins are truly noble creatures, shrouded in mystery... one RPG I used to play even portrays them as the messengers of the Sun God Praios...
A nice post, I'd say.
To make it more special, try to:
-Enhance the uniqueness of the Griffon Tamer by making her one of a kind, not just one with inherited talent.
-Enhance the nobility and mystery of the griffin, not by merely giving size measurements, but perhaps saying 'Taller than a rearing horse/fur more golden than the rising sun' etc.
Yea I was going to log in but my teacher came up behind me so I quickly posted the last comment without signing in and shifted back over to my research on marine ducks. lol :) But yeah, now I know never to rate myself and will not. I'm currently on construction of a new item so get ready to be amazed because this one is amazing and will set the pilot for a new game I'm currently constructing. Go to Comment
There is a land where every person wears spectacles. Those without eyeglasses are considered to be the lowest stratum of society, so adventurers without glasses are treated like outcastes. It certainly would explain those heroes wearing sunglasses for no apparent reason...
