Strangely...funny. Did I hear anyone say "Flubber"? I do like the idea, though. Will be interesting to see where this ends up. Go to Comment

I checked up on "flubber"... It's basically what I imagined, the "jelly" is a bit more pliable and flowing. The one thing I think needs to be changed is the name. Any suggestions? Maybe "Jumping jelly", because that's what it should look like when zapped. It's not very original though, so I'll give it some more thought. Go to Comment

I think I agree with Scras'. Without more information for why/how it exists theres no reason to use it. I'm not sure theres even that huge of a different between the weights and properties of gold and silver for it to make a big difference. Why not use silver? why not use gold? It makes an interesting flavor addition, but I don't really like it.

This submission kind of blows my mind, but not in a good way. I understand the premise behind it, but the point eludes me. Go to Comment

Brings to mind the Star Trek, Gold Pressed Latinum. Which I know it isn't but that is what I was thinking the entire time I read that. I am not saying I don't like the idea. I can see its use to some small degree for flavor and fluff of some kind, but frankly I don't see this as a viable source for income. A lot of players I game with argue constantly about dividing treasure... how do you divide a precious metal that is two in one?

The using it against creatures that can be harmed by silver is a plausible idea but how to keep the metal wet while fighting it seems virtually impossible. It has a short merit but it needs some more detail and work.

What val said. I like this stuff! Lots of obvious plothooks come to mind, plus I simply like the weird physical properties of the the metal. Easy to use in a game! Go to Comment

neat item, useful in a world or game setting with a strong alchemy-esque world view to it. Could provide a tool in a very scenario specific con or battle. Go to Comment

Slick! I like this simple yet cool idea. Would like to see some more applications, but is a pretty good first post. Go to Comment

I don't get your point either... You mean you don't get the point of it existing at all? It's just a tweaked material that I thought of at some point. What reasoning for its existence should there be?

It is not the most magical thing out there, it's just two things at once. Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde. Possibly the best use for it is as a flavour material, some bizarre occurrence for the players to gape at for a while and then treasure it or try to sell it as highly magical, or find some other use for it.

Tell me what you meant so I can make it better. Go to Comment

A good beginning but I agree with Scras and Pieh, it feels unfinished. It is an interesting bit of color, but without some other in-game use, it is unlikely to be included in any campaign. Some ideas about it's unique use or some other reasons to add it to a campaign would really help.
