This is terrific, at first I was turned off by the name, but then I thought of Puck. Really a great submission and I love the way its written 5 of 5. Next time I make a new fantasy world I hope that I can fit this into it.
Oh and the tower that floats cause the god of earth can't see it. Really fantastic touch, has that been done before? Go to Comment
I would have liked a bit more touch up on the presentation eg. maybe the first big chunk of text under Background could go into a blockquote or flufftext format (borrowing from Scras' terminology) aka italics.
But this certainly doesn't detract from the quality of the idea. Very usable in gameplay as well as just from a literary point of view. Go to Comment
This is exactly the sort of plot that my combat-maximized half-orc barbarian (whose strongest social skill is brute intimidation) is routinely forced to deal with. Because of that, I'm eager to inflict comparable heartburn upon my players! I love this sort of insanity!
It really could use a thorough going over and refurbishing, though. Go to Comment
I love this plot, so gald it came up from the depth of the citadel! So much can go horribly wrong: Romiette falls for one of the PCs, the fathers duel in the street, Julian gets abducted as retribution for the steed's death. So much goodness!
The PCs would have to work sooo hard to get these two together. Organising patries, encounters and introductions, all the while keeping this totally silent from the fathers, resulting absolute hilarity for the GM!
Mind you though, the PCs would become quite the socialites after this, and would be incredibly well armed against these situations...
Then again, the easiest solution is probably to abduct them, lock them in a room and let nature takes its course... Surely three years should be enough? Go to Comment
I have that problem too! I don't dare post anything here anymore after a player looked over my shoulder and discovered my nickname. Damn that Google!
I vote for a "privileged" section in the new Citadel, simply because old time users increasingly is threatened by player discovery!

There exists a prestigious academy with a history going back hundreds of years. Graduates are highly skilled and very much sought after for employment. For purely traditional reasons, the academy requires its students to become proficient in a skill or area of knowledge that has no use in the modern world. This could be Ancient Egyptian, an antiquated form of writing such as shorthand, knowledge of building or repairing antique steam engines, programming COBOL, etc. PCs who graduated from this academy must be sure to have this skill in their repertoire.
