Hey all,

Wouldn't you be compensating for something by putting a big gun on your tank? I mean this whole post seems to be a dick metaphor, this is a huge ram rod with a wam-bam attitude. No, this whole post is about one guys desire to "give it" to someone quickly and get out of there. You should rename the tank the bachelor.

Yes, a very good expansion indeed! The reference to the demon she absorbed is there - but it is not obvious as first. Perhaps in the original reference to Akhazereth the Blade you could elaborate on the fact he was a demon. Demons do not have a monopoly on possession. Go to Comment

Heh heh heh, her mercenary character reminds me of the character Nobby from Discworld. During his career in the armies of the world, generals on either side could tell how the battle was going based on what uniform Nobby was wearing at the time. So, in that sense, she's like Nobby- except with a sense of decency. Go to Comment

Compliments on the completeness of the expansion.
A bit of a loose end with respect to "the demon she absorbed" part as I see it but doesn't detract from the quality of this piece. In fact, I much prefer the current length. Go to Comment

Apology to the author for making the unsubstantiated comment on the demon part, I wasn't reading things probably. I thought the sentence read "Akhazareth the Blade (AB) tried to possess the duchy" so thought AB is a person. Didn't realise that until valadaar pointed it out. Go to Comment

I imagine the farther reaches of the world have some rather interesting stories of murderous iron daemons... And I can only imagine what must go through the mind of some hapless traveling spellcaster when he encounters one of these things and suddenly finds it marching toward him with weapons deployed.

Very fun submission.

I think the programming methods with the "Ether Crystal Resonance Array" and "Ether-pods" was interesting, even if it felt somewhat above my head. I would love to see a submission all about these "Ether-pods" and what they can do with the "ECRA," because I'm not sure I'm entirely getting how they're suppose to work, and I think much has been left unsaid.

Nice. Fantasy terminators desgined to hunt down mages and wizards with no mercy. I'm sure many of Danari's nieghbours are simply dying to get their hands on a few of these war machines. Go to Comment

Mind you that many of Denari's neighbors do have mages amongst their populace... and the Iron Legionnaires CANNOT be de-programmed from killing mages :D so, they might steal a few, even come up with a program for them, only to watch the machines romp off into the night as they seek that mage to kill. I like this as well. The tale itself isn't unique, but well-told nonetheless, and the automatons well described. Specifications section is nifty too. My biggest takeaway from this is that these things just can't kill enough mages and wizards, which can only lead to fun times :) Go to Comment

the herd beast resemble bulls but they emit steam from there maws and there teeth glow white hot  water trickles from there throats. there horns are like spears and there hooves have spikes below and around and there made of iron
