What strategies do they use to avoid detection? How does one contact them? What role does the illithid play? GMs are supposed to be able to use this, so you need to provide the background details, not just what PCs might know.
Format wise, there are inconsistent capitalizations and spelling errors.
Using demons and summoned monsters to perform assassinations is a bit interesting, especially if the victims are PC's. Go to Comment
An interesting concept, but I have a problem with this.
This really only works with Impotent, incompetent, or Not Really Good gods. If you have a setting where the good gods are actually good, they would oppose this directly unless they were weak. And if they are weak, than evil should also be weak and a poor tool, or else evil would be the dominant force.
But for low magic/evil ascendant worlds, this could work.
Interesting. Ghosts with firmly limited powers. I would think that if they can bear weapons, and be struck by regular weapons without harm, that they could simply attempt to seize the weapons of the intruders and struggle for possession should their own be broken. Go to Comment
Moonlight shines down on the tranquil scene of a slumbering inn along one of the many roads that cross the land. Trees sway gently in the night air, and the stars twinkle brightly. All is quiet as the PCs snore away, a fine tendril of smoke curlsrnunder their door. The tavern is on fire! This is particularly bad news if the PCs own any horses - the screaming they hear is probably from their mounts! Panicky people are rushing about with buckets of water, trying to tame the flames. The fire fighting effort is not very coordinated as everybody is either hungover or still drunk, including the PCs. Hurry!
