My biggest problem with this is that suggestions have been made to improve this that have not been followed. There are numerous problems above and beyond the subject matter:

1. Numerous spelling errors.
2. Capitalization in places
3. Punctuation -Missing apostrophes - shes , commas used as periods. No space following comma in places.

In addition to the other comments, what is special about the two daggers that they deserve names?

Please, when you are given feedback on what whould improve your sub, take it into consideration and rework your sub. You are obviously interested enough to post it in the first place - follow through and make it good! Go to Comment

Hmm, this is neat. Imagine if one of these held a secret you wanted, but would not impart to you willingly. You could wait, a looong time.

You need to link the Uluun to this one.

I like this - it is a perfect quest item - a potential lottery ticket for any landowner with a garden.

A lot can be done with this, since you could make them the principle source of magical healing in your world.

valadaar's comment on 2014-03-11 11:57 AM
Um, a mage called Pubis?

Quite powerful item with a utilitarian origin. I could see it existing, but with a more involved origin. Having a faultless forgery tool certainly falls in the wish-fulfilment magic item category akin to invisibility rings and flying items.

A solid 2.0 - OK idea but flawed. It certainly can be used, especially in the hands of a formidable enemy. Go to Comment

Great idea! You can of course extend this idea to allow trolls to use more powerful magical rings this way. Go to Comment

Indeed. These two can be used in many places. They have a feel that would be in place in the Game of Thrones universe . Go to Comment

valadaar's comment on 2014-09-12 11:06 AM
Its good - but perhaps not as world changing as some would think. A very, very big problem on all battlefields, but especially those of the middle ages and later, is communication. Having an omniscient general is only good if communications can support their directives, otherwise they will be able to do a great after-action report.

Better for intelligence gathering and like, where speed does not need to be tactical.

Combined with magic enhanced communications, we have an entirely different kettle of fish.

Heh, this item is old school - for good and ill. That said it is an improvement on many, though not stellar.

The powers are only as munchkin as you let it be - a one/day special effect is not atypical and there are much worse out there.
