Good detail, but I can't see an entire race/tribe that shuns missile weapons faring well against one that does. Go to Comment

Disagree with Moon on this one - the History adds to a good physical description of the city - It certainly conjured up a City Image to me.

The Gelflings in the Dark Crystal fill a similar role to Hobbits I think, and get up getting it far worse.

I think this idea is a good one as Moonhunter said, and could have benefited from some more 'marketing' :)

This is a great idea - though of course it only works on worlds where mages are common enough to be used in this manner.

That said, there are a lot of those about.

If we ignore the physical impracticability of the weapon - which can be hand waved away like the 6-round limitation of a cowboy's revolver, it has decent visuals.

Its well detailed and written, but the story is well travelled. The druidic influence is nice, but it really needed something to pull it away from its very strong inspiration.

Plague

       By: Dragon Lord

A plague has hit the local area.

In humans it affects only the most vulnerable, the children and the very old, and even than it's little more than a summer cold. 24 hours of sniffles and then it's gone, barely noticeable really.

To sheep however it is fatal and the whole economy of the area is in serious trouble. If this keeps up the area could well be facing famine.

Somebody (enter the PCs) must find the rare herbs needed to make a cure.
