This one is pretty good. Early reference to The Beard Golem here.

I really like this concept, especially since the 'original' becomes a key factor and could easily become the focus of adventure.

eg. An elite unit equipped with enchanted armor and weapons guards the king/dingus/other notable. Due to government incompetence and cost cutting, rather then multiple scattered originals being used to provide the equipment, the entire units' equipment are tied to a single set. This set is fairly well protected, but still represents a single point of failure that could turn the nearly invincible unit into one much easier to defeat.

I am of multiple minds on this one - it seems to be a good collection, but there might be other tools available to provide this grouping.

Freetext (order)

Region - Orders of Knighthood - a very specialized region, but perhaps okay.

Favourites Lists - Maybe.

Perhaps if each of the orders was given a brief blurb - even a copy of their summaries - this might improve this sub.

I'm torn.

At the very least , this may serve as a source for one of our new-fangled generators when those are available :)

If an already dead/undead corpse could be infected as well, this would allow a really nasty necromancer (are there any other?) to seed a zombie army before a major battle.

Simple zombies would become much more dangerous!

Conversely, it could be used to nasty effect against more powerful corporeal undead (unless the negative energy that animates them is strong enough to kill the spores. Go to Comment

Agree with Muro on this - the shrouds are a nice touch.

A travel book I have from the turn of the last century (pre WW-I) indicates that certain orders of monks (Trappist I beleive) work a few minutes each day at digging their own graves in the morning. Go to Comment

Well, if you edit it again, I'll hold my vote off until then.

Currently, the english is rather bad, and I'd want to know why this particular Sphinx's death put out the gods enough for them to intercede. Go to Comment

This is a great and universal idea. This could easily spawn many adventure ideas - think how many voyages pursuit of such commodities in the real world has generated.

If you are looking for a sub which is on the other side of the spectrum - not saying that is where to go, look at the Alun or the Asrok. Mine are overkill, yours need work.

At least make it better then a scroll entry. This entry would fit in a list of '30 Really Minor Races' or a Idea seed.

My big concern is you are not taking any of the advise given already to improve your posts. Not sure why. Go to Comment

Soda Alchemy

       By: mimic12455

Often times in when alchemy is thought of, we think medieval times with wizards and sorcerers. What if such things existed in modern days such as today? What if the focus of alchemy is common knowledge is can be used for favorite drinks? What if you have a soda machine that can create soda with special properties? The varieties is endless, though good taste is limited. What kind of concoctions can you create?
