This is fine work Murometz. Absolutely awesome! It's got everything a good order needs; a martyr, a sign, a couple relics and a holy grail of sorts, as well as an interesting backstory and a unique set of members. It's not your typical "Blind Monk" but it follows a similar archetype - though this is not something I've ever seen or thought of before. Easily a 5/5 - I'd give it a 6 if I could.
I like it all except for the ambiguity between "ska" and "Ska." Other than that simple, well though out, and with evidence of a surrounding mythos. I like it.
Wow. This is a beautiful sub. I never, in my wildest dreams, would have concocted an elemental of culture. Truly, this is a majestic and beautiful creature. The submission was written wonderfully, and I applaud you on originality!
Easily 5/5
simple, eloquent and useable. A veritable Yggdrasil or Tree of Wisdom to fit any campaign.
The Novice: Eager to please, this might be his first job. He accepts low pay, and looks the part - and is seemingly discreet, though perhaps is a little too 'excited' about this endeavor. Will he be a talented, young virtuoso killer? Or will his bumbling attempts get him captured, interrogated and have the spotlight shined back on you?
The Freedom Fighter: He or she is one of a dying breed, perhaps of the last of a once mighty elder race, or a long fallen empire. While deep down, he or she knows that history is an endless series of waves of empires rising and falling, he or she feels personally involved in the downfall of their race/hegemony. The Freedom fighter will embark upon any mission that will bring him/her one step closer to restoring the greatness of his/her kin - or at least give him/her some peace of mind.
The Barber: Everyone needs a shave. Decked out in an assortment of expensive clothes, a meticulously trimmed mustache and a waxed bald head, this barber deals with none other than the most polished of the political elite; one at a time. If your client is a blue blooded male, he no doubt sees the barber from time to time. And the slightest nick of the neck with a poisoned razor blade is just so... impossibly deadly.
The Harlequin: An irrational fear of clowns is actually quite common. But for most of us, they are fairly numerous in carnivals, circuses and all other manners of public entertainment and merriment. And really, what assassin wouldn't take advantage of the situation? An event where everyone's identity is hidden, smoke and fireworks hinder visibility and audibility, tight quarters make it hard to walk, and drunken festivity can so easily cause someone to 'fall down', right on top of a shiny, needle sharp dirk.
5/5 for me. I actually like the groups. This isn't an archetypical listing, rather it's a pre-rendered scene thats easy to invision with character and dynamics, and a broad backstory. I like it. It's alive and brilliant.
Solid summoning item. Just a question; why a plate? I understand it's not tableware, but when I think of something that summons, I usually think small and compact. Then again, I think a break from the norm is always healthy.
The Xenoknight - This warrior isn ot of our world. It's unknown where it came from or why it is here. He/she/it does, however fit the mould of a knightly warrior - honorable, cultured and robed in protective garments, it rides upon a steed unlike anything anyone has ever seen before, wielding glowing weapons foreign to this land - or indeed, planet. While he lacks an discernable vocal organs, and as indeed mostly hidden beneath his armor, he shows a fond affinity towards the other knights, and while there is no way of telling for certain, he displays an other-worldly grace and comendable style of courtly etiquitte, including a cavalier attitude amongst the ladies, and a enviously confident, though silent, posture amongst the other men.

Only have read this so far, but as a Codex, it seems very thorough, consistent andwell thought it. It's easy to see that you have put quite a deep amount of thought into your con-world, especially as evidenced by your naming conventions (do I spot the makings of a conlang?) and your steady progression through an archaic age, dark age, modern and now post-modern age.
I see alot of gnostic and mystical influence here as well as heavy neoplatonism. I like it, alot. This is not just astronomical, it's as Olontur said, a foundation for an entire cosmos, or at least a single world. A very cool 'a posteriori' take on some by-the-book classical/mythical ideas, with a new flavor to them.
This quite literally made my day. Having a crummy day at work, but I read this and I loved it so much I had to grab my PC and comment. Excellent, EXCELLENT work. Amusing, but at the same time highly usable. I could totally imagine some really interesting dialogue, using this God in colloquial speech as a synonym for laziness or delay.
Now I should get back to work but...
I like the idea of cyclopean civilization being filled with intelligent, sentient individuals, rather than the portrayal of the traditional, bumbling idiot cyclops. Good jorb.
OUCHIES. You had me squirming at the slicing of the eyeballs. Gruesome. Liked the journal entries. I liked the fact that it's prime mode of operation is causing pain, not hunting. Adds a bit of realism to the surreal. Very good undead creature - just what we need in the wake of all the "Twilight" and "True Blood" nonsense we are living with.
I like the eastern flare; Tawaguchi clan, Hanan balls - makes them appear more exotic. Cant help but be reminded of the Vodyanoi from the Witcher. I really like the variation between males and females. I especially like how females are naturally very strong personas, it almost makes them seem matriarchial. With their dubious intellect, I'd almost think that there should be "high stewardesses" in the stead of "high stewards" =]
Truly magnificent.
