What does Teleportia look like? How easily defended is it from someone kicking down the door and getting inside? Go to Comment

Not bad. How does one activate the portals/teleportation? Are there set portals to fixed locations, or is it more flexible? Go to Comment

So portals are mostly already predefined to specific locations?
Is it possible to establish new portals?
Is Teleportia a unique place, or do other teleportative hubs exist? Go to Comment

There is not enough information of the nature of the letters or their contents for me as a DM to use them in my campaign. Go to Comment

The update improved the Sub a great deal, although honestly this sub seems more like a plot or historical happening in their current form.

1: Did Edamus find all the letters?
2: Will the Gods produce more?
3: Tie this into a group of PCs. Why are the letters important to their understanding of the world?
4: What happened because the original recipients of the letters did not get them? Go to Comment

How about some DM info so I could possibly include these in a campaign? Go to Comment

Wow. Now THIS is good stuff. I can see this getting expanded even more, it's such a good base.

At the end, it would be useful to get some Character Summaries.

Otherwise, this gets a five. Go to Comment

A Series of Tubes (Endless fall trap).
Dungeons  (Underground)   (Traps)
Ted's comment on 2010-11-14 01:53 PM
The recursive portal trap is inherently different for a few reasons:
1: The portal is entirely harmless without any ammunition fired into the trap.
2: Players are not physically disabled in any way, besides arrows and bolts sticking out of their bodies.

As to it being a "Straight copy" from the game portal, the differences between a game where a player can create an endless loop of portals and an object within a game that is an endless loop of portals the player characters have no control over is pretty large. Portal did not originate the idea of one portal leading into another.

It popularized it.

A similar historical example would be the creation of calculus. (http://xkcd.com/626/)

Sure, Newton did it first, but that doesn't imply that Leibniz was working solely off Isaac's work. Go to Comment
