Boots Too Fine for the Earth

Brilliant. Just... brilliant. *Wipes a tear from his eye*

An awesome story behind it, An interesting thought that the boots are not magically enhanced, as such, but are simply... so fine. The use of levitation would be most useful when traversing across dangerous terrain or trigger-plates of traps.
A definite 5/5 from me. Go to Comment

Very nice item with an enjoyable background. The curse permamently strikes them blind? or do the effects wear off after a few months of use?

That would be interesting, actually. The only way to stop the curse is to not use the bow for one year. But the blinded may want or have need to see before then, thus using the bow once more, and refreshing the year time limit. Go to Comment

Waahahahahaa! I love it! Very colourful description and background. I partiuarly enjoyed the metaphorical nature of it. This is an interesting change, as it differs from simply describing the item. I give it a 4/5, but most of that vote is for the mythical structure of the post. :P Go to Comment

nice. An odd way of travel, but a useful one, nonetheless.

I don't suppose I could make an item or two using Felonuis Twist, could I? :D

Hello, assassin dagger!

The first ability would be pretty useless to those with already clear vision, though it would help sharpen people eyesight, perhaps. The second ability is perfect for assassinations or thievery. An assassin can douse the light in a large hall, plunging it into pitch-black, then run up to the main table, kill the head figure and leave without tripping on anything or bumping into anyone.

A nice dagger. I would have liked a bit more depth on the background, but its all sound as it is.

Much improved, Grevenon :-) I revise my vote to 3/5. Keep up the posting, and remember to try and make it original, and with depth. Go to Comment

Does she want revenge for the people who misjudged her? Or does she just feel its time she got a share of life?

Well, I like evil, magic, undead and specifically necromancy, so you've managed to capture my interest. I must say this character is far more in-depth than a lot of posts, lately, so this is refreshing. Keep it up.

Hm, 3 hits and a 5 vote...

An interesting character, though I don't think its worth a five.

Is there any reason that he was skipped to another planet? Perhaps an enemy wanted him banished? I think this character needs a bit more depth

What pushes this character above the general populace, that makes her worthy of note? Perhaps more development on her background, pros and cons will help fill this character out. Go to Comment

This item lifts above the most basic of things I have seen in here, but just barely. Perhaps giving a little more in-depth information on the swords magical properties would help. Also, perhaps a little bit of the background of the sword, too. How it was crafted, how it fell into Windsongs hands etc...

Good luck for future posts, however, by looks of this item, you have the ability to create some interesting posts, you just need to think over them a bit. {Something which I rarely do :-( }

You should post the websites you know in here, Tsar:

I suggest, also, that you try to be in depth, and make your friends deal with it ^_~ A thorough submission is better than a shallow one where people have to fill in the void with questions to the author. Keep the ideas coming!! Go to Comment

If it were to end up with someone already insane, the blade would do little more than help that person guide his insanity into attacking people. Go to Comment

I took the liberty of making a background/description of the Mui'aan fungus, as I thought I should try to make a bit of an explanation for the bloodlust created by the metal. Feel free to make suggestions/alterations/inclusions. I hope this is how you envisioned your metal, Silas. Go to Comment

Here is another thought on what could happen With Imuricum crafted items, plus an addition to this item:

Dormant items - These items are crafted using Imuricum for the superior quality the element gives, but they are are not drenched in any blood.
And example of what could happen because of this?
An Imuricum breastplate could be worn for months, but then during one particularly bloody battle, the blood of a goblin is splattered all over it. Some days/weeks later (the heat was the catalyst of the blood soaking into forged Imuricum items), the owner of the breastplate may feel the urge to hunt goblins again... Go to Comment

Ha! First, thanks for the compliments :) And to answer your thoughts - The element only absorbs the blood of the first creature that touches it. So someone with the "Blade of the mad", for example ( )
could kill any type of creature he wishes, but still only want to attack humans. Go to Comment

Thats correct - the fungus properties can remain dormant for centuries, until some blood has been spilled on it. When that happens, the fungus is 'filled', and no other blood can effect it.

Until it has blood absorbed in it, it is just like any other weapon crafted, albeit slightly more durable.

And theres nothing wrong with questions - The easiest way to get answers, in my opinion ;)

No, it gives NO skills at all, just an increasing desire to kill a certain type of creature. But I see no reason why items made out of this cannot have additional enchantments. Go to Comment

While travelling near the edge of a forest the air is filled with the wailing of battle horns. Soon a large group of mounted cavalry will gallop by in a panicked rush. Some will spot the party and shout "Flee! Flee for your very lives!"

Several minutes later, hundreds of running infantrymen will be spotted. A large group of white clad knights fiercely chanting a battle song is in full pursuit. One of the white knights carries a banner of a white horse on a black background. The horse is rearing under a gold crown, indicating the presence of the Paladin Prince. As the horrified infantrymen struggle to flee into the forest, the zealots charge into their midst and cut them down by the tens and hundreds.
