Very well-written sub. Very dark. Very much a world-shaker. But internally very consistent. Well done. Go to Comment

I like it, Pieh. I've introduced Faerie into my fantasy campaign and can use fae-created stuff for the PCs to find. I see the Fae as a dying race, and things that create more fae would be very useful to them.

Yeah, she does sound like a wild magic, chameleon mage that soaks up the magic around her and makes it hers, until the next bit of magic comes along. She would definitely be fae-touched pretty soon, much too interesting to leave alone!

A useful sub. Actually, I liked it without the 'fluff'. It makes it more useful to the GM.

With a little rewriting to blend him into my campaign history, he will work very well. I like him.

I like it. I have several players with elf or ranger abilities. This quiver would be something that they would love. Have to think of other colors as well. Go to Comment

Ramhir's comment on 2010-11-26 05:52 PM

A neat idea! It would be kinda hard to implement it into an ongoing campaign, bit it would be unusual. Perhaps as a subset of the Elemental Mages, if they experiment and discover the other elementals.

This is the first of the 5 Room Dungeons that I have read; going to have to read more.

This is a good base for a scenario. It can be added to, or subtracted from, without much difficulty and can make for a good encounter for the PCs. I like it.

Oooh, Wulfere, I love your plot idea. It is a twisted,plot-within-a-plot. Perfect for hitting my PCs over the head with! Thanks.

Ria, a very nice set of subs that my players and I can have a lot of fun with. A 5 for sure. Go to Comment

Ramhir's comment on 2010-09-25 12:30 PM
Very powerful, perhaps too powerful for a game. Anything with a riddle, or a mystery, would be ridiculously easy for the PCs.

"Oh, the Codex of the Ultimate Weapon! Great, let's go get it!"

Would have to be very carefully used. Perhaps as a quest item that vanishes after use? Go to Comment

Orcish currency is derived from glass beads. The art of glassworking is well beyond them, but perhaps the orcs have something of value to the civilized races, such as animal pelts, and well made axes, and bows. The humans trade beads for the goods, and the orcs will trade the beads amongst themselves as a form of their own currency. Perhaps they value blood red beads above all others, or animistic orcs favor beads in the colors of their gods.

Inspired by Indian trade beads, some of which could be quite ornate and beautiful. Most North American Indian beads were made in Italy. Surprise!
