Good idea! Wonder how it would work in a cloud? I have Dropbox and have a folder called Game Folder that is shared with the rest of the gaming group. Would it be an ongoing Log, or a bunch of separate files? And if the latter, how to organize them? Anyone have a suggestion?
Fantastic idea!!! A few 'generic' riffs would be a good idea, just to get our creative juices flowing.
I've made up small cards printed on cardstock, that say "Good cinematic roleplay. One reroll of dice". This not only gives the rewarded player something useful, it also emphasizes what it was given for. Thanks for the idea, Wulfhere.
Another good sub, MoonHunter. We are always trying to speed up the combat, which takes a long time compared to the roleplaying parts. Some of this we're already using, others are new ideas. Thanks.
I have some programming experience and I *really* liked the flowcharting aspect. Thanks, MoonHunter.
Awesome sub! I won't use it in day-to-day gaming, but it will be a killer whenever I have to intro a really new and bizarre culture. I'm using it right now to set up the culture of the Ska'ags.
MH, you said something about a way to make a sub easy to print, but I couldn't figure it out. Has the new format for the Citadel removed it?
I like this neighborhood a lot. Seems more like a lakeside rather than a riverside locale, what with the rising and lowering water level. I think that one or more of my lakeside towns will acquire a neighborhood like this one. Thanks. 4/5
I tend to agree that it doesn't seem very useful to me. And while I agree with Axlerowes that all kinds of weapons got tried, the ones that didn't work well got dropped quickly, either because the fighters went to something different, or they all got killed. I agree with Cheka Man that it would have some scare value, I can imagine a few ogre champions with these, backed up by lots with more normal weapons. And it wouldn't be too complicated to be made by a fantasy race.
Wow! I am in awe! A truly great article and one that will definitely have a place in my campaign. Thanks, MH. 5/5
Another must-have in my campaign! It can be dropped in just as it is. All I have to do is figure out what the various herbs and spices do. Do you know if there are any other shops detailed in Strolens?
I agree with axlerowes, this is good advice. I, too, will try an MVP vote into my postgame stuff.
NPCs (Campaign) (Criminal/Espionage)
Somehow, he doesn't grab me. You've obviously spent a lot of time and effort on it, but he doesn't sound like my idea of a High Elf. Were all of his people inflicted with the same hubris that he was? I like the scene with the old orc, that sounded real to me.
And the ticks- biological WMD for sure!
