You've really put a lot of work and imagination into this sub, but it would only be useful in an Armageddon-type campaign, where the most the heroes can hope to do is delay the final battle, because they sure as hell can't stop it.
As Mike says, a vast world, but of very limited utility for most campaigns.
Limberlost is a fantastic sub and will have a place in my campaign soonest. An entire scenario-in- a-box! My first 5; thanks, Scras!
Unlike you, Muro, I do like the fae. They are a large part of my campaign, and it is *nice* to have this forest to drop into my world. Thanks, Ria!
Very good sub, similar in many ways to my The Inn of the Wild Geese, but enough different not to overlap.
A good, useful sub. I'll print it out and use it in my campaign. Scras, when are you going to post the 30 Bar Wenches and the 30 Children? :-)
I like them. Wind-borne jellyfish feeding on lightning and hunting more corporeal beings to carry and feed their young. Well done. 4/5
I like it. A good use of magic to peacebond weapons. I would think that a thriving industry would spring up making them.
A rather fearful breed of demon. Not much use in my campaign, but would be very useful in some campaigns I've been in. I like the explanation for their medusa-like abilities.
I agree completely, ScorpionJinks. And even more completely with Wulfhere. Some of the earlier critiques would have shriveled me up completely. Thanks to both of you.
{Gah! At least mine weren't *that* bad!}
Thirty minutes of perusal of the submissions in the Citadel should give anyone an idea of how to write up a sub that is better than this one. The subber couldn't have given it any sort of effort. Even my high school creative writing students would have done a better job than this. Thanks, Scras, for showing us a truely awful sub.
Very good! I'll put it in my campaign, although I will change the name so I won't have to redo the undead I've already got. Perhaps Deathwalkers, or something like that. Thanks, CP. 4/5
I like them. They would work very well in the Limberlost sub by Scrasamax, which I am planning to work up for my campaign. Thanks, CP.
Lots of people did lots of work for this thread, but I'm not sure how useful it would be on a campaign basis. It seems that by the time I've restructured an entry to fit my campaign, I'd have been better off to have made it up from scratch. Much of it would, I guess, depend on how familiar the personage was to both the GM and the players.

Like sverigesson said, the writing style needs a lot of improvement. It took me a few moments to realize that the dragon's layer was where he lived, his lair. And what are 'eyes of poise'? Some of his style may have been deliberate, but it doesn't add anything for me.
Go to CommentAn OK sub, but it does need some more work to be usable.
