Really like this idea. Dr Doom came to mind when I first looked at it, but when I got into the story of it all it really came alive and was made its own. I can see me using this idea. Go to Comment
Like this item. Good background and discription. This is the kind of magical item that I like to use against the PCs. Powerful but with no real ability to cause them harm physically. Go to Comment
Good points raised here. Combat is one area where many people do just fall into the dice rolling without a second thought, and it is high time that somebody addressed these matters, which you have so well done. Go to Comment

Its nice to see a measurement system laid out like this, nice and clear and I realise its not that simple because I've been trying it myself and you want to make it a little differant from what already exists now.
I like the day/time measurements, and they can look confusing, just look at any 'real' equivilents on history sites. Go to Comment
I really liked this. Nice and simple but with wonderful detail that doesnt overshadow.
Good basis for a dungeon, as said they should have a reason for existing. The punishment and reasons for the undead in the chambers was well thought out as well. Go to Comment
I've only just found this post. Forgive me if i'm one of the few but I like this. As Moon says not all beasts and creatures need to be extraordinary, sometimes the ordinary will do.
Personaly I like this, the fear factor alone is good, and I sometimes prefer ahving stuff thats more 'real' to set the players against than the fantastic (but perhaps thats jsut my style of play) Go to Comment
Of course this could lead players to a problem, if they find that the one person who the evil behind things (the person wearing the item), is also the one person they cannot imagine doing any of this stuff (Miss Good Girl) then it could be problematic to address the situation. Go to Comment
Fantastic, beleivable and borders that line between magic and simple beleifs. Old school stuff that can be effortlessly slipped into anywhere. Go to Comment
Many thanks for the kind words. Unfortunatly I am about to move house and so will be gone for short while but I will try to update when I get back. Go to Comment
