Personally I have thought of these guys as a medievil Foreign Legion. Their men come from all places and walks of life, which matters not once through the gates, and are driven by a harsh code of conduct that makes them fierce fighters to be reckoned with. Go to Comment
Sorry, not clear there. They don't need to serve the fifteen years to be able to be promoted. If you show promise during your term as a turm (did I really just write that?) then you are put forward for promotion to Templar. This could be a tany time during your time in the lower ranks. I admit to not always voting or commenting, partly because I have 'real'work to do and I could loose myself within Strolen for the day otherwise but they are good points well made and I will try to do more in future. Go to Comment
Its a wonderful idea with fantastic potential. It could be easliy be manipulated to suit any place or time with minor alterations but would suit Gaslamp Fantasy of some form of modern horror really well. Go to Comment
Really interesting stuff and well presented. Got me thinking a lot, and although I wouldn't use it in a game a tpresent I can see how it could be adapted to use in a more 'modern' game (18th cent as you say) quite well.
It almost makes me want to do one just to work with it. Go to Comment
Elves use nature as strength and borrow from the trees to keep them living. An elf out of the forest for more than a day begins to die and within 3 days is dead without borrowing the strength of nature.
