This is cute. They remind me of fantasy lightning bugs. I can see these adding a lot of neat flavor to a camping scene. Thanks!

I have an idea for a Pyromancer NPC who might just happen to attract a few of these harmless fey who enjoy basking in the warmth of his fiery destruction.

Very nice, gotta love the thief items. The bright color would change before i used it, maybe more dark red and chunky (like salsa). I can understand the bright color being used as an in-game way of making it a slightly less potent item in PC hands, but I think that in a world with sufficient Alchemy can probably give it a slightly less noticeable color. I agree with Valadaar. But certainly a nice little bit of history.

I imagine that for a magic user to be made of magic would be a rather divine feeling. Go to Comment

Magic is a little different than metal and paints... and who knows, I'm sure that there is an artist out there who would LOVE to be made of linen and paint. Besides, I would of thought it was obvious that he was under some serious magical influence, he did forget about everyone he knew and loved. With the amount of enchantments he was under I'm sure he would have thought being a magical being would be great despite the being a cloak and a pair of gloves.. and it's kind of like the ultimate devotion to his art, he became a creature of art as far as he is concerned. I see it as a slow manipulation of his mind, I'm sorry if you can't see this the way I do, but I can't see it the way you do. So we're even. Go to Comment

I have a few questions: How would this item be stored and used? Wouldent it just create a fireball as soon as it was created? Or does the owner have some sort of mental control over it? I like it, but I dont fully understand it. Go to Comment

I'm happy with a 3/5, I might eventually think of a really good backstory; about the shortness: I'm going to try to add some more flavor to it at some time. Sadly, its not up to the quality of my past items, but, hey, they cant all be winners. Go to Comment

Yeah, a 50ft fall is nasty, but it was never intended to seriously injure anyone. Thats why he sold it. It didnt turn out how he originally planned. Go to Comment

Very nice! A wonderfully vivid piece that begs to be used, The descriptions are so juicy that I can easily imagine my perilous journey through wastes of picked-clean carcasses and white ash. Thank you. I really enjoyed this one.

Holy carp! This is the best flying machines ever! Beer-Jets, Ahoy! The letter was a great intro. I was reading, wondering what a gnome opening up a store/bat could have to do with a flying machine, then the ever-full mug, then the flying ever-full mug, and the transition from mug to machine was so gnomishly appropriate that I had to read it twice. This is great stuff!

It's a fantasy virtual reality helmet? Interesting idea, and nice execution, but I'm not sure I would want to use it. Much like I don't tend to use drugs or addiction in most of my fantasy games, this feels like it would hinder the game more than help it. Not bad.

Strange item Not very good, even back then, but it does have some charm to it. Makes me want to write up some more magical goblets, though.
