Images of a deathly pale maiden in a sauron-esque helm with a sword of pure darkness in her hand. All magic is is using the forms of her dreams to alter reality, and the day she wakes again, as she did once in the past, will see the end of the world. Her followers come in 2 different schools: Those who worship her as the Dreamer seek to wake her that she might once and for all cleanse the world of magic, while those who worship her as the Unseen seek knowledge at any price from the second most ancient of the gods.

"Faith in Freyalise has given me the gift, not the curse, of unprecedented longevity."
Alright, other than a certain non-standard contraction that distracted me for a bit, I like this. The imagery is suitably dark and grotesque, though I do have a problem with one of the monsters; namely, the creatures are composed of shadow, yes? Or at least that's what I got out of the intro, but the Wild Ones can survive the light because they're blind? How does whether a creature made of shadow can see or not affect how well it can stand the light? Now, the grasping arms of the octoshadow didn't really bother me, because I kinda figured they were being held together by the cephelapodian will of the beast, but the Wild Ones are just that, wild, untamed, without any real /will/ other than the will to eat...
But that's just me, anyway, great sub :D
I'm going to start this out by saying that this is a solid sub, it checks off all of the right boxes: the humble origin, the call, the regret, the weird past adventure and potential enemy, and all that jazz; however, on finishing it I didn't really feel anything but "Meh" about her. Unfortunately for the constructive criticism department I can't actually pinpoint exactly why I feel this way about it, so I'm leaving you with some plot hooks instead... :/
Potential Plot Hooks:
Haukagaron survived his jaunt to the nether realms, and succeeded in clawing his way out, now he's hunting for Paravella and she hires the PC's to either protect her from Undead Ninja Assassins, or she heard about his escape and hires the PC's to pre-emptively end him.
