A very simple story and idea, yet brilliant! I like the background and the curse. But I especially love the fact that it never delivers large amounts of damage. I can get a great visual of a cursed character wandering the streets, covered in superficial cuts from head to toe, with bloolust in his eyes. Go to Comment
Awesome idea, Cirruswind! A seemingly low-level magical item that, when used correctly, could be invaluable! I like the idea of using the marker stone as a "homing device" that would allow the pc's to find the target wherever he/she is. Go to Comment
I'm having a hard time picturing the armor and how it actually would function, especially with the damage reduction from piercing and slashing wounds. However, I think the idea is very creative and original, and I could see a druid wearing Derrin's Vest and nurturing the moss. Probably even having conversations with it... Go to Comment
Foot Coral. It attatches to a foot like moss, almost gluing itself to an organism. It gets its food supply from the ground, and does not leech off the host in any way. It is not a malignant organism, and is entirely harmless. But it only grows on human feet, and even then, never on the left foot. An organism that it grows on can feel touch through the coral, but not pain. Removal of the coral is painless, but why would you want to?
Texturally, if fells like a dry, non slimy amoeba.
