I just did not like Dane DeHaan in this at all. Way too boyish, acting was meh, and the love interest in Cara Delevingne was so superficial it broke the immersion completely almost every single time Dane and Cara had a scene together.
Visually it was slightly better than okay. I found the space battle and ship chase in Alpha to be the best bits visually. Rihanna's blue blob shapeshifter thing was meh.
A guide more than pure fact. It's really the very first steps in the creation mythos and predates the deities that makes up most of the worship in the world. As part of the Holy Empire setting, it's only with the rise of the Holy Empire that worship of the "Light" begins to supplant worship of the deities with all the bloodshed that a religious shift entails. The Eturians are a rough amalgam of the Romans and the Datians are based on the Greeks. I merely took the names of Etrusca and modified it a bit. The Datian's name I believe is based on Dacia but has no connection whatsoever to the Roman province of the same name. They dwell in the lands of Tiberia West of the lands of Imperia where sits Riversheart. Go to Comment
Thank you. And I think I'll create a sub later down the road to describe the lands of Imperia and her people, specifically the urban areas like Riversheart. That should solve the lack of any cultural tidbits I didn't throw in this one. Thanks for pointing that out. Go to Comment
The PCs find a strange helmet, when donned it will take control of that PC and speak and act trough him/her. It explains that it is benevolent and needs their help in a quest and that it will stop possessing the PC when the task is done. Great if a player is gone for a number of sessions.
