An entertaining read, I don't mind so much that it doesn't follow the quest format. Like the author says, the story is well worth the detraction from the template. Go to Comment
I agree with previous comment that the drawback doesn't really seem that much of a drawback but I really like the twist section. I'm less crazy about the lore but that's just me. Go to Comment
I really like the drawback and twist sections but the lore section somehow departs from the template for this quest and I personally feel that's a bit odd. Go to Comment
Did you realise that John Howard happened to be the Prime Minster of Australia at around the time when you wrote this? Anyway, the lore's pretty good. Go to Comment
Decent item overall but I'm finding a few logical issues with the backstory and as Dossta said, linkage between various part is a little weak. But still, I'm giving this a solid 3. Go to Comment
I agree with Axle on the main. Still, I like the twist to this item (which originally I thought was missing cos not explicitly singled out under a separate header) but really on second thought I like the twist a lot. Go to Comment
A fairly original concept, to interpret vampires in terms of psionics. Write up is also solid. One nitpick with it, however, is that halfway thru the "What is a Psionovariate?" section (having forgotten the title) I really wondered abt why the exclusive focus on the Alucardian Psionovariates as I was expeceting a brief description of each Psionovariate type. Maybe change the section heading or regroup content in the opening paragraph and the What is a Psionovariate section (I mean, currently it just seems a bit confusing to me because the starting paragraphs talk abt Alucardian Psionovariates specifically. Then the "What is a...?" section starts from a general overview on the Psionvariates and then w/o warning it goes back to focusing specifically on the Alucardians.) Go to Comment
The concept of these missile fishes is quite nice by itself and I really wish that Tundra's comment to Scras' clarification question had been incorporated into the sub itself as the info. included there was fascinating. The bit about their hunted by the Akaat surely brought the creatures to life. Go to Comment
A very innocuous detail but wonderfully thought provoking as showcased by the comments. Just reading through them is a joy and bonus to reading the sub itself. Go to Comment
