On a planet with no name, a group of lawmen must protect a colony nobody has heard of from the universe’s most effective killers. All the while preserving the safety of both the guilty and the innocent in an effort to make society more about dignity and freedom than profit and force.
A town is besieged by a changing culture and is desperate to hold on to its oldways. But that gets harder as the next generation starts to leave the traditions behind. The drive of some people to resist change and hold on to what they have is so great that they will not only fightthe undead but eventually embrace them.
A magical relic is stolen which has the power to raise the dead. The dead roused by this item are twisted tormented beings but are also elevated to a power befitting their earthly accomplishments. The PCs are charged with retrieving this item, but before they can safely secure it has already been used to raise the legendary King Parna who carved out the Kingdom by his spear and wits alone and his two most famous companions. Now the PCs must not only contain the relic, but save the realm for these new and powerful undead.
Imagine if King Arthur, Merlin and Lancelot were brought back as powerful undead.
The blood of a dragon is vital in the creation of potions of longevity. The liver could used to cure any disease or ailment, while the heart could restore a PC to full and complete health, despite their age, or injury.
