Sagas are the “oral tradition” of Kerren. Sure they are written down, but they tell stories of The Days of the Ships, of Onterio, of Earlier Days. In addition to history, they are used to teach moral lessons and Preserver Ideals to the younger generations. Though the Sagas, one learns to of Kerren and how to be Kerrenese.
For hundreds of years colonist from Earth have lived on Kerren. They came to Karren to live a simplier peaceful life. A pity that dream never materialized.
Kerren is a world in an age of Saurians. Giant megafauna live among huge trees. Smaller saurians and giant insects live in their shadows. The Humans live in Clusters, walled cities usually along cliffs, to protect themselves.
Kerren is a world of little metal. The colonists expected resources to maintain a minimal level of technology. Those resources did not exist or were unobtainable given their tools. They adapted to the materials they had.
In short their life was simplier, but it was not peaceful.
Zhan are extradimensonal blobs that fall from rifts caused by electrical storms. Zhan infect living things, twisting them into rampaging monsters. If Kerren was not dangerous enough, now “things” roamed the lands.
However, the Colonists found allies on Kerren- The Dragons. Working with this native animal species, The Ryders defend their people. Riding their dragons they destroy Zhan as they fall before they can contaminate the world, remove Zhani monsters in Grey Zones, and wrangle Mega Fauna and Jumpers. Together with their Dragons, Ryders help build and maintain the colony.
The Nine Coyns are Items of Destiny. Created long ago as tools of resolution, echos of the primal set have been found in other realms… places that need resolution of great threats to the Way.
The lines are drawn.
The final coyn is tossed.

Another year, another List. I am always giving advice to various gamers on various game forums. I am constantly giving the same advice over and over again (cut/ paste repeat). Once a year I think about the advice and put together The List. These are this year’s ten most common pieces of gaming advice I have given out. They should be useful to you to some level.

One of the finest kings The Lands have ever known; this elder king is much beloved and respected. It is ironic that his greatness plants the seeds of great strife.

The White Beard just sighed.
The city has some great bridges, awsome works that span the large and gentle river that flows through the city. To prevent the river from overflowing, the river bed was dredged and the river sides were given steep deep banks. Decades after the project began, the city was safe from flooding.

Cooling Touch Charm: protects horse against extreme heat, and fire, magical and mundane
Jove's Favor: tin charm shaped by a lightning bolt that protects a horse primarily from natural lightning, but also potentially from lightning based attacks. In real life, lightning kills quite a few horses and cattle a year.
Hermes' Blessing: gold charm that grants the horse magic resistance, and perhaps immunity to cantrip level magics.
Vulcan's Steed: This large iron charm in epic fashion renders the steed invulnerable to iron weapons. Such things clatter off of the animal's hide like twigs.
